Henry is a handsome 1-2 year old gray male Weimaraner who found himself as a stray at an animal shelter. An owner was found, but decided not to reclaim him. Henry is new to rescue, so we don't know a lot about him yet, but after spending some time with one of our volunteers we learned that he LOVES playing fetch. He is a sweet boy, and craves physical attention. He seems to be a bit of an alpha so he would probably do best in a home with no dogs or submissive dogs. He gets a little too excited when he sees cats, so a home with no cats would be best. With treat motivation, Henry knows "sit", "down", "shake", and almost has "speak." He is very smart, and everyone who meets him says he is a big sweetheart.
If you are interested in adopting Henry or one of our other Weimaraners, please fill out an application and one of our volunteers will contact you. You can find an application on our website. http://www.weimrescuetexas.org/adoption-application
