C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter, we are foster based. We showcase our adoptable pets at adoption events most weekends at many locations such as PetSmart Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels. Tractor Supply Bulverde, Earth Angels San Marcos, etc. Visit and like our Facebook page for event schedules or contact us at CatAlliesofTexas@gmail.com.

Cat Allies of Texas Rescues' mission is focused on cats of Comal county. Our vision is to keep cats out of shelters, place adoptable cats and kittens in a home, reduce stray and feral populations through TNR. Help colony caregivers manage and care for their cats. C.A.T. Rescue will offer, when possible, humane assistance to all animals in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whiskas, a Fischer Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Fischer, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Fischer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fischer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fischer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fischer paves the way for another one to be saved.
