My name is Oscar! I had a family once, and I lived with them for a long time. I thought I had found my forever family and that nothing could ever come between my family and me. Unfortunately, one night, I was left outside. I decided to wander the streets, but I came back. I waited at the door, but no one came to let me back inside. My house was empty; there was nothing but empty space inside my home. I waited and waited, and, finally, a stranger picked me up, took me to their home, and fed me. Suddenly, I was warm again! My tired, old body was warm, and there was food in my stomach. Then I was taken to a shelter. The stranger looked sad leaving me there, but they promised I would find a new home. I was lucky--I was taken from the shelter rather quickly by an amazing organization. I'm now scared and hiding. I miss the warmth; I miss the people I once knew so well. I'm great with other cats, but I miss the love I thought I had. Will you be the one to give me that warmth and love again?
