I am already neutered, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hi there. I'm Cole. As so often happens in Alabama, someone called Animal control to come pick up three strays. Maybe we were strays or maybe this owner found an easy way to get rid of his unwanted pets. Either way, the animal control man came out and picked up my mom, me, and my big brother, Noah, and took us to the animal shelter. This is not a good place for puppies in Alabama. It 's a very scary place. There are just not enough homes for all the puppies. If we are lucky, someone will adopt us or a rescue will find us a loving home. A very nice couple adopted our mom. Then Noah and I were alone until our foster mom took us home with her until Sandi Paws Rescue can take us to Wisconsin. Then we can find our fur-ever homes. Until then, we are warm and happy pups.
Our foster mom says we are silly clowns. We keep her laughing. She says we are very smart. We are learning to watch and sit. We are doing really good with potty training. There's hardly ever an accident. We have taken a couple short walks on a leash. We can still use some more practice. I really love my crate as long my foster mom does not close the door. Then I get a little upset, but I settle down and go to sleep. I am so excited the next morning when she opens the door. The crate is where I carry my toys when I do not want to share and I love to take my naps there. Just leave the door open. I am not too fond of toys. I love to play tug and some squeaky toys are OK. I love to run and jump in the leaves and I have so much energy. What I really like is being held. I sit at my foster mom's feet and look up at her with my innocent eyes. She cannot resist. She picks me up and holds me close.
I forgot to mention, I love to play with other dogs and I am good with the cats.
