BROOKE is with the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation until December 2016. If she does not pass her evaluation, she will be available in December for adoption. She will need a dog savvy active family with a large secure yard (7 foot minimum) to keep her physically and mentally stimulated. Adoption applications accepted in advance.
Brooke is a beautiful 8-month-old Belgian Malinois Shepherd / Doberman mix. She was just saved from a high-kill shelter in California and is in Seattle waiting for her forever home! Brooke is a highly intelligent girl with a great temperament who needs a dog-savvy owner with lots of time to devote to exercise and training. Brooke will respond well to a firm and confident handler who can provide positive reinforcement, mental and physical stimulation. Brooke is friendly with everyone and loves to play with other high-energy dogs. Note: Brooke will only be adopted to a family contingent upon professional training enrollment upon adoption, or to a family with extensive training experience.
2 TRAINING SESSIONS with her trainer included with her adoption.
Adoption Info: $550, includes pull from shelter, spay, Rabies/DPPV/Bordetella vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipping, health certificate, and transport from California to Seattle. This adoption fee not only contributes to Brooke's rescue, but the rescue of hundreds of other high-risk dogs. If you would like to meet Brooke, please email firstname.lastname@example.org!
