Brewster's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Brewster's Story...
Finally I have decided to place Brewster on our adoption list, in hopes of finding a family that can work with this special needs boy. He came from a home where he was never allowed to go outside. We know the lady held him and loved him but he lacked socialization with others. We believe he was a mill dog that was tossed because of his disability--he is totally deaf. He loves to be held and loved, but of course wants to see your hands at all times. We are thinking him at 6 or 7 years of age. He was fed only soft dog food, so he has had a learning curve here at the rescue, and he still gets a little everyday. What more can I tell you about this special boy. He isn't house trained, but believe if he was on a leash and taken out it would be easy to do. Photos soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brewster, a Walthill Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Walthill, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Walthill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walthill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walthill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walthill paves the way for another one to be saved.
