On Thanksgiving day Murphy appeared scratching and barking a the gate of his current foster, after all attempts to locate his owner failed he was taken in to rescue and is currently under veterinarian care for hair loss that has been caused from chronic flea dermatitis. He is currently on medication to help with his hair regrowth. Outside of this he is a adorable guy with a very even amount of energy. He is house trained and knows basic commands like sit and stay. He is about 6 years old. The vet was totally taken by his outstanding temperament and intelligence and has offered to provide a reference of health and behavior. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a White Settlement Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in White Settlement, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in White Settlement.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in White Settlement already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a White Settlement breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in White Settlement paves the way for another one to be saved.
