Mercy's Story...
Hola!!! It is so great to have the chance to finally get to "talk" to you.

My name is Mercy and I am trying to find my forever home. As you can tell from my pictures, I have a very goofy and playful personality that is impossible to hide even from a camera. I love being around people and am always thrilled when I have the opportunity to make new friends. I can be very cuddly and I enjoy being able to curl up in people's laps whenever they are available.

When I am outside and I'm not able to go straight to the new person I want to introduce myself to I have the tendency to do a little tap dance while I wait for them to get a bit closer so I can say, "hi".

I am not very interested in other dogs most of the time because I usually prefer the company of people around me. When I do interact with other dogs, I am a bit dominant with them and I prefer spending time with dogs who don't want to play all the time. If you are interested in making me a part of your family, please stop by and let me introduce myself to you today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mercy, a St. Louis American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
