Winnie's Story...
Hi, I’m Winnie! I’m a 7 month old shepherd mix. I’m a major sweetie pie with a penchant for cuddling. New people can make me a little nervous at first, but it doesn’t take long before I’m in your lap. I’m good with cats, dogs, and I LOVE kids! I’m good in my crate and working hard on house training and learning commands. Obedience training would be a great way to help build my confidence and social skills. I like to play outside and would really love a nice fenced in yard to run in. I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. My adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope. com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Grand Rapids Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
