Bear is a gorgeous boy who has been being treated fro heartworm disease since August. He is heartworm free and ready to begin a new chapter in his life with you. He will need to be on exercise restriction just through the end of December though, after that he will enjoy letting loose in the fluffy white snow.
He is now in foster care with a wonderful volunteer family, who has this to say:
"This cuddle-bug named Bear is best described as a "gentle giant."
He may or may not think he is a 5lb. lapdog and not a 70lb. husky mix. As soon as you sit down, he will be right there next to you, or rather, on top of you, if you allow ;).
He seems to do well with other pets and children; he might chase your cats if he thinks it's a game, but it's all in fun. He is also a Packer Fan and will allow you to play “dress-up”."
To meet Bear, call the shelter to set up an appointment to get together with him and his foster family.
