Likes music and being petted

Sweet Pea matches her name.

She is a sweet, dilute tortoiseshell kitten who is socialized and ready for her forever home. She ran into her rescuer’s garage at about 6 weeks old, where she hid for 2 weeks. She came out to drink, play and peek at the kind humans, but stayed in hiding.

After coaxing her with music and sweet words, the rescuers got her to come out and visit at a distance.  At about 10 weeks, they were able to trap her and take her to the vet for a wellness check and spaying.

Sweet Pea has been in the house since her surgery and health assessment.  She is sweet, playful and chatty kitten. She enjoys being petted and held. Her nickname could easily be Motörhead because she purrs a lot.

About 13th St. Nac Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
