Nigel-Referral's Story...
German Shepherd Rescue of Central Texas claims no responsibility for the descriptions or temperaments of any dogs listed as a referral. We have not met these dogs nor have we evaluated them. We have not verified any claims made by the owner or contact person; we only list the dogs to get more exposure and hopefully a wonderful adoption. We do not own or take responsibility or liability for any completed adoption or transaction made regarding these dogs. Potential adopters are expected to seek out any and all information on health, temperament, and past behaviors prior to adopting.

Nigel is a 4 year old Male, Lab-Shepherd mix. He is neutered, current on vaccines, crate trained, house trained, and walks well on leash. He knows "sit" and "leave it". He loves the dog park and our kitties.
He generally gets along fine with dogs at the dog park and our cats.

I am asking a small rehoming fee and a vet reference to ensure he doesn't end up in the wrong hands. He will come with his food bowl, a week's worth of food, collar, leash, rabies tag, and a toy. He loves to fetch and play in the water. He is an excellent watch dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nigel-Referral, a Dripping Springs German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Dripping Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dripping Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dripping Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dripping Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dripping Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
