Jet is a shepherd thought to be between 2 1/2 and 3 years old. He came into the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. He lived with a few other dogs along with his owner and had no socialization with other humans so was very shut down and scared when he came in. He was placed in a foster home where he will remain until the right family comes along. Jet currently resides with 2 other dogs and a cat and does well with all. He is housetrained and crate trained. He is still very nervous around children in particular and takes time to feel comfortable around strangers. Because of his fear with children no kids under 8 years old. He is very sweet and quiet and gentle but it will take time for him to understand how to trust new people. He has been taking trips out into the public to be introduced to others. If you are interested in meeting Jet and you have the patience and time to spend with him please contact an adoption counselor to set up an appointment to meet him. Jet would do better in a home with another dog. You must bring any dog you currently have with you to meet him and any children 8 years or older to make sure it is a good fit.
