Lita's Story...
This gorgeous family has just returned from foster care and are ready to find homes of their own. They arrived at our facility weeks ago when mom had already given birth before being found. They were able to grow up in a foster home where they have been loved and spoiled. Lita is a playful 1 year old cat who is a sweet girl that just wants to be by people. The three kittens are 10 weeks old and are adventurous. They love to play but still enjoy being cuddled with. All four were exposed to dogs of all sizes and did well with them. The adoption fee for mom, Lita, is $120, the female kitten, Bat, is $145, and the boys John and Hans is $135 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, registered microchip, fecal exam, deworming, FIV/Felv test, and spay or neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lita, a Joliet Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
