I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
AVAILABLE IN THE MIDWEST OR NEW ENGLAND AREA Stiletto. With this beauty, what girl wouldn’t have a sense of the fashion to be named Stiletto! Beauty and poise! She would make the greatest fashion accessory (oh and family member, lol). She is about 3 years old and really, just one of the prettiest labs! She is a bigger girl, about 70lbs and has a shiny black coat. She is a little on the shy side, but with a loving family to help build her social skills and confidence, she will make a terrific family member. She could use some obedience skills and she is currently working on house manners. She is crate trained and just eager to join a family of her own to make them proud. Stiletto would do well with respectful children and not too chaotic of a house hold. She does great with other dogs and can be cat tested if needed. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is heart worm tested. She is microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard. If you’re looking to pick up the perfect accessory (family member) please complete an online application and request her on the notes section.
Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption is an all-volunteer, non-profit (currently filing for 501(c)(3) status) rescue organization whose mission is to reduce the euthanasia rates and inhumane treatment of Labrador Retrievers in the Midwest and find loving forever homes for them.
Most labs that come into Lucky Lab Rescue are from shelters here in the Midwest. Most are at risk of euthanasia, usually due to overcrowded shelters. Labs are one of the most popular breeds of dogs due to their loyal and family oriented personalities. Labs are also one of the most overbred breeds and are the number one breed to be found in shelters. They also have one of the highest euthanasia rates. Some find it difficult that rescues can be breed specific, however, Lucky Lab Rescue and other lab rescues make a huge impact on euthanasia rates just by rescuing labs and lab mixes alone.
Our Adoption Process...
Potiential adopters must fill out an application and a Lucky Lab representative will follow up with both a phone and home interview. Our adoption includes all vaccination, microchip, spay or neuter and a heartworm test. Provide additional medical treatments if needed.
