Linda is beautiful - you just have to look at her video to see why we said "send her to EAPL." She was left in a Shawnee, OK shelter (look at her poor pitiful mug shot) and no one ever came in to even look at the pets there. So... she was a lucky one and she was pulled with Seth and Rudy by a local rescue who put them into foster homes and has held on to them for a couple of months. BUT they also could not find adopters so they started contacting rescues to transfer them. EAPL was very happy to say YES send them to us. Linda and Seth are on their way to EAPL and we are searching for a foster home to say yes to Rudy too!
Linda, is about 8 months old, we are putting her birthday at 3/29/2016. We think she is a Catahoula mix (maybe with some staffordshire terrier possible ummmm not sure) BUT she looks more like a beautiful Catahoula mix to us... Linda is not completely house trained "yet" but she is crate trained. With just a little work and a schedule Linda could be house trained. It's just if you don't let her out in the morning from her kennel first thing, she will have an accident (so would I if I had been locked up all night girl's gotta wee.) People's fault not hers. Linda is very smart so I know it would not take long to learn anything! Linda get's along great with male dogs (she loves Rudy). The current foster home also has 3 chihuahua mixes and two puppies that she gets along with. She is a great babysitter lol. Linda would love to be the only dog in the home because she loves loves loves attention and thinks she is a chihuahua and would prefer to be in your lap or on your bed. The foster home's kids get her down and just wollar her and Linda loves it! Linda works well with a nose leash; loves to go for walks. Car rides can make her nervous so you will have to get her use to them so she does not think you are taking her to a bad place again. She does not like the kitties so no kitties for this girl. We are working on her transportation now she will be her very very soon so put in your application to reserve her today.
