A volunteer writes: Looking for a totally habit forming, non-caloric sweet treat? Look no further, as you''ve found her -- Chocolate is waiting to meet you! An adorably delicious little girl in a golden coat, Chocolate was surrendered to our care by the only family she''s ever known due to a housing conflict and lack of time. We''re told she lived with 2 kids, ages 6 and 11, and was playful and tolerant with them, lived with a small male dog with whom she played, but who growled when she tried to cuddle with him, and this smart girl would then back away. Chocolate doesn''t guard her things, and when told ''move'', she''ll leave it and move away; she''s not fond of baths, is friendly to all, housetrained (check), affectionate, loves belly rubs, sits and gives paw when asked, sits to wait to cross the street, and a hand clap then releases her to go. Wow, this is one smart cookie! I loved my time with this tiny morsel of deliciousness. She''s sweet, lovely, super affectionate, lots of kisses and hugs, playful with a toy in a pen, and was able to amuse herself just tossing the soft toy around. She has the best face, her expressions are fun to watch, and her ears remind me of little baskets waiting to hold something -- the love of a new family or person perhaps? Joining me on the bench for some kisses, Chocolate told me that she would love a new home. I promised her we''d do the best we can, and the rest is up to you. Perfectly petite and sweet, ask to meet her today.
