The first step for Pet Rescue Solutions' adoption process is filling out our application at this link http://www.petrescuesolutions.org/adoption-application/ Next, we would review your application, along with others if any. Our main goal is to find the home best fitted for our dogs available for adoption, we will contact you through email to explain further details, so please remember to add your email. We do ask for a donation/adoption fee of $150 for smaller dogs under 40 pounds and $175 for larger dogs over 40 pounds. This fee covers spay/neutering, all vaccines, microchip, and any extra medical expenses. We also have some final paperwork the day of adoption along with a pet ID tag with your information. Finally, we provide an adoption kit to start the beginning of a journey with your new best friend, and an adoption picture to record our rescue doggie's happiest day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remi, a South El Monte Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in South El Monte, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in South El Monte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South El Monte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South El Monte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South El Monte paves the way for another one to be saved.
