Timber's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Timber's Story...
Timber is a 1 1/2 year old male Retriever mix who is looking for his forever home. He lived the majority of his life outdoors on a chain, and is just getting used to being in the house and part of the family. He lives with another large dog, who is a submissive male. He is still working on his doggie manners, so a home with another dog would have to be just the right match. Timber will need a patient owner that will help him continue to learn.
Timber loves people and has met the neighbour kids through the fence, with tail wagging and ready for pets.
Timber weighs roughly 60 lbs.
Timber's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, current de-wormings, a leash, collar, and some food. Adoption forms can be found at www.cleoskarmacaninerescue.com and are required to be submitted prior to meeting the dogs.
Timber is currently fostered in Medicine Hat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timber, a Duchess Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Duchess, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Duchess.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duchess already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duchess breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duchess paves the way for another one to be saved.
