This sweet girl was completely shut down in the shelter environment. At the shelter she kept her kennel clean and would wag her tail when people approached, but then she would 'army crawl' due to being afraid of what would happen next. We're not sure what may have happened in her past or if shelter life was just getting the better of her. She is now in a foster home and their helping her to know she is safe and loved.
Update from her foster mom:
Natasha is doing better each day. She is slowly learning that she can trust us. She is still quite shy. Until yesterday (12/1) we had to carry her outside and then back in the house. She is potty trained and hasn't had accidents. She will need leash training once she is better about going out into the 'world'.
Natasha will need a patient home that will love her unconditionally while she continues to learn the world is not such a scary place. Another stable dog in the home could be beneficial to Natasha as well for her to follow their lead.
