Lenny is a delightful Labrador Retriever mix who was born in October of 2015. He only weighs 37 pounds and is a very active boy. Lenny loves to run and play with all the other dogs. He is extremely social and doesn’t know a stranger. He gets along with both male and female dogs, and will frolic in the yard until the sun sets on him.  He even gets along with cats!  We took him in our colony cat room one day and he just laid down on the floor and let all the cats come up and smell him at their leisure:)

Once a month, our dogs get to go on a hike and he is no stranger to the park. He always enjoys leading the pack and going on an adventure whenever he can. Although he was not use to a leash upon arrival from McKamey Animal Center, he has grown to love being on a leash, and a well-fit harness always leaves him prepared for his next journey.   He also loves the car ride and would be happy to ride in the front seat as co-pilot:)

Lenny’s ideal home would be one with either a fenced yard to play in with his new family, or he would have the availability to go on walks and enjoy the day. Lenny is a perfect dog to take to the dog park, and will always greet strangers with a big smile. An active attentive family will make Lenny feel right at home.

The adoption fee is $90 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm preventative medication, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
