Do you like big mutts and you cannot lie? You'll fall hard for this handsome gentleman then! Stoick is a Great Dane X Great Pyrenees mix who is just one massive boy! He is a loveable big hunk though and at 1.5 years old he has many more years of love to give. Stoick has lived on a farm his entire life and is use to all sorts of farm animals. He is a bit shy with strange dogs, but should be fine with proper and slow introductions. However, this big dog is a puppy inside and needs obedience and house training. He is very intelligent though and his former owner believes that someone with experience and patience can turn this farm dog into a great household companion providing that he gets lots of exercise and space to run! He will be available for adoption once vetting is completed!

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.

Applications are the first step in the adoption processPlease do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do many events throughout the year with our foster dogs in attendance. Please check our online calendar frequently to see where you can visit us.

Our Adoption Process...

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are $175 for Puppies; $225 for Adults; and, for Senior Dogs it will be determined on a case by case basis.
