DANIEL THE SPANIEL's Story...
Meet Daniel the Spaniel, BCIN’s latest BC wannabe.  Daniel is a year old male spaniel mix.  He may have some BC in him, but we are not sure.  We bailed him sight unseen from the shelter, and despite his mixed heritage, he is no less deserving of a good home.  Daniel is on the smaller side, still very much a puppy.  He likes other dogs and is such a love.  He could use some training, as he would rather play than learn his lessons.  We are still getting to know Daniel the Spaniel better, but our guess is that he would make a good family dog.

Daniel's adopters must be committed to work with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents.  As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must.  This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well behaved, and well-adjusted adult dog in your family.

If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please fill out an adoption application.  We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled.  The electronic application can be found on our website at http://www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DANIEL THE SPANIEL, a San Pedro Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
