Nico's Story...
My name is Nico and I love “no rain”. I’m a “soul one” who will give you lots of love and attention. I might be small but I have a mighty purr and quite a unique meow. I love to play and when I’m tired I love to curl up on your lap and purr myself to sleep. If you are working at your desk and call me, I will come running over and jump up on your lap and be the cutest furry assistant ever. I love to be brushed, petted and don’t mind having my nails trimmed as I plan on keeping them forever but make sure you have my scratching post for me. I love to burrow in a soft warm bed to call my own and I am curious of other cats and would like to make friends. Hope to be part of your furrever home. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Nico, please contact his foster, Juli at 419-277-7116

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nico, a Toledo Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
