Harmony's Story...
Lovely Harmony is a 5 year old Dachshund/Terrier mix ready for a new leash on life! She was brought to the shelter when her previous owner had too many animals to care for. She is a friendly and loving girl, who just wants to cuddle and get attention! Harmony has been very sweet with all the staff and volunteers here. She is fine with the other dogs in her rooms and should be fine with another dog in her home, but also seems like she wouldn't mind being a spoiled only pet either! She is doing well with potty-training, but may need some reminders in her new home. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook! We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harmony, a Benbrook Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
