***COURTESY LISTING***

AMARI---When this handsome guy was rescued several months ago, he was wearing a flea collar he had outgrown--- and it was affecting his breathing!  He was immediately taken to Clint Moore Animal Hospital where we discovered he had a micro chip!  Turns out, his prior owner had moved away a year and a half ago and left him behind to fend for himself!

Amari is a 3 year old domestic short hair neutered male who is wearing his heart on his shoulder!  (See pic #2)  He is up to date on all vaccinations and is 100% litter box trained. He is loving, affectionate and loves dogs but is a little competitive with other male cats.

He was raised with dogs... and in fact, continually tries to rub his head against my dog’s head.  He just wants to be loved and give love.   He is comfortable as an indoor cat and prefers to spend time with his human and canine buddies. He loves lying on your office desk while you work, sharing the couch when watching TV, or sleeping by your side.

He is a wonderful loving and gentle companion and would be so thankful to be loved, to give love, and to have a forever home!

Rehoming fee:  $55

Please contact Dawne at email: dawne_mayerson@comcast.net or #561-313-8709 if you or someone you know are interested in this beautiful affectionate boy!

About Grateful Paws Dog & Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of animal loving people who volunteer our time to save the life of a dog or cat in need. We are not breed specific but our ability to help depends entirely upon whether we have a foster home in which toi place the pet while we are looking for a new forever home.

We are entirely volunteer and none of us are compensated for our time or efforts. Monies donated go directy to the animals in our care.

Come Meet Our Pets...

For the most part, we reply primarily on the internet because we all work full-time jobs during the week!

We do not have a physical building - but we try to participate in Saturday adoption events from 11am - 3pm, on a regular basis. Please check our website for our most current calendar that shows where we will be. www.gratefulpaws.org.

It is always best to check the Upcoming Events page of our website www.gratefulpaws.org/upcomingevents.html

or give us a call to find out where we are going to be. Week nights 954-462-8840 eves after 8pm or on the week-ends: 954-579-3753.

Our EMAIL is monitored day and night, and is the BEST way to contact us.

Our Adoption Process...

We perform a telephone or in-person interview and ask our perspective adopters to complete an application for review by our board (generally takes a day or less). We want to meet the family, so we will come to your house to see where our pet will live. We do a vet check and if applicable, a landlord or condo association check as well. And finally, we accept an adoption donation that is applied towards the vet and care bill for that pet. The range is from $75 to $300.
