Tate came from the Nevada, Missouri Animal Shelter when no one came to claim him our group did.
Tate was adopted and returned recently. The family said he is a great little guy and super loving, however they were having issues with getting him housebroken. Tate will need a family that will be patient and dedicate some extra time and consistence to help him master this skill! He is crate trained and mostly housebroken.
Tate is about as perfect as you can get in a sweet , little furry kid. He is a total sweetheart with everyone he meets. He loves every one and every animal. His foster mom says he loves to play with the other dogs but isn't overbearing and pushy about it. If he meets a new furry friend that wants to run & play tag he is all for it but if his new furry friend is sedate he is very respectful of them. He leaves the cats in his foster home alone and he doesn't even chase them if another dog in the house does. Tate is a wonderful furry kid and some lucky family is going to have a amazing companion when they adopt him.
Tate is very small so school age children or older please, also a secure fence is needed for this little guy OR potentially a home with no fence in which he would be walked.
Tate has been neutered, vaccinated, heart worm tested negative, wormed and micro chipped. If you are interested in adopting Tate, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
