My story

Meet Roger! Quiet, shy, gentle, loving, and sweet. Roger is most appreciative of the simple things in life. You. A soft bed. Walks. Love. He likes to explore and is good on a leash. He went many years without that stimulation so a simple walk means the world. More than anything, he is looking for companionship and the ability to live with a family. He has lived in a shelter for most of his life and would be o' so grateful for a little thing called "home." He is good with people and dogs and enjoys having them around. He isn't very playful with other dogs but don't let that fool you, he does love and need the company. His ideal home will have someone around most days to be with and another dog that shares his same outlook on life. He will do best in a quiet home, without a lot of noise or rambunctious activity. He adjusted to his new routine here at the center very well and will adapt to home life quite well. An easy rescue and once you get to know him, he'll be the one doing the rescuing. We promise. A love of a dog. Dogs OK. Older kids OK. Age 8 years. 14 lbs.
