I was found on Thanksgiving Day, 2016 and named after the area I was found in. I was very injured with a gunshot wound to my hind leg. I was taken in by Natchitoches Hope for Paws and rehabilitated at the vet for months. Once I was healthy enough, I got to come here to the site! Even though a human was mean to me in the past, you would never know it because I am so full of love! I will wiggle with excitement when you come to play with me. I love to be petted, kissed, and hugged. I also love playing with some of my good dog buddy friends here! I was in foster care with a family that had cats. The cats didn’t bother me and I didn’t bother them. I still hop and don’t use that leg much, but it doesn’t slow me down at all. I can certainly hang with the best of them! I am just so cute when I play. If you take me home, I promise I will bring you joy!
