Aristotle the Greek-ADOPTED's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Aristotle is about 9 months to a year old. He is heartworm negative, has had all of his shots, and has been dewormed. He is microchipped and neutered too. He is crate trained and pretty much house trained. Aristotle walks on a leash, as long as he understands that the human is in charge and not him wanting to jump up and lick your face :-)  He does very well with new people, likes other dogs, and ignores cats.  Aristotle likes little wee ones also!

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aristotle the Greek-ADOPTED, a Livonia Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Livonia, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Livonia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livonia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livonia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livonia paves the way for another one to be saved.
