Let It SNOW!!

Ok maybe not in North Texas, but this beautiful girl is all the SNOW we need, a big, beautiful, soft and fluffy cloud of Pyrenees and Australian Shepherd. She is 2-3 years old, about 65 lbs with mostly Pyrenees fur but an Aussie body.

Snow came in with horrific mats and tangles that were weighing her down in body & spirit, now after a thorough bath and grooming she is SO HAPPY & LIGHT ON HER FEET, loving to play with other dogs and loyally follow humans around the house.

Snow is a wonderful companion animal, she is looking for a peaceful home to chill-out in and a person, couple or family who will love her while she works on a long-term weight-loss program. Snow needs someone who will take her on leisurely walks so she can lose 20 lbs over the next year. She also needs someone who wants a cuddle-bug, foot-warmer and body pillow, because even if Snow is supposed to be cold, this Snow will warm your heart.

To apply for this big, beautiful girl go to www.dashdog.org!

General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $350 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities.

We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs over 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.

Please READ ALL of our info below BEFORE SENDING APPLICATION.

Our goal is to help our puppies and dogs find FOREVER HOMES AND FAMILIES, NOT TO MAKE IT PROHIBITIVE FOR YOU TO ADOPT. However, once we review the application and contact you we MEET TO ADOPT, so please let us know if you are ONLY APPLYING TO STAY ON FILE or THAT YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT, for the consideration of our puppies and dogs and families who know the time is right!

About North Dallas Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

I am the Executive Director - I started NDDR with a select group of co-resuing friends and neighbors because we saw a need to rescue very adoptable dogs from Death Rows at municipal shelters and believe through foster care we can work with and train these dogs to be ideal family pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter - we accept online applications and either have individuals meet at foster homes or we will bring dogs to a safe, fenced neutral area - depends on situation.

Our Adoption Process...
