My name is Sam!

Labrador Retriever Mix Puppy for adoption in Stamford, Connecticut - Sam

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sam's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sam's Story...
Hi there...
I need a home.
I am a Leonberger Labrador and I'm 5/6 months old.
I was picked up as a stray and I am currently in a high kill shelter that is out of room and euthanize for " lack of space".
The shelter has named me
Sam.
I truly want to get out of here and be with a real family for the holidays...
It's sad here... There are so many friends that have gone down the hall and I've not seen them come back....
Where did they go? I feel I am in a bad situation.
Will you please consider adopting me? I want to go " home". I won't ask for much.. I don't need presents or anything.. Just a loving family to care for me.
Material things don't matter... It's love that matters!
Please get me out of here!
I'm super loving, playful and a mush! I love everything and everyone! I love the toys they have here. I'm just a baby! Please help me!

I've been praying to Santa to swing by and pick me up and take me to my forever family!!
There isn't "much time"... I overheard the people here. Sigh......
What does that mean..??
Can you help me go " home"?
Love, Sam

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Stamford Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Stamford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Stamford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stamford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stamford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stamford paves the way for another one to be saved.
