Poor little Tommy was living behind a dumpster and was so hungry he went right into a humane trap. Our volunteer that trapped him was doing TNR (Trap, Neuter & Return) on a feral colony. Tommy was so calm and small that she knew he could easily be socialized and would be a normal kitten in no time. Tommy is doing really well with his foster and is opening up more and more everyday. He is enjoying being held and petted and has even started to play just like any other kitten. Previously feral kittens are really special. They take a little longer to trust new people and to bond but when you have earned their trust the relationship that takes form is amazing. You will never be sorry that it took a little extra time to get to the cuddling and purring part. It's a great experience and Tommy will be your special kitty for his whole life.
