What a love!!! This girl would adjust to just about any home she's put into. She adores people and just wants love in return. She is a young cat who has already had one litter of kittens and that is enough for her.
Kenai Animal Shelter is operated by the City of Kenai. We provide a safe place for pets in transition to their new home. We have recently expanded the cat housing, and are providing beds and toys to our shelter pets. We work very hard to find adoptable animals homes, and have increased our adoption rates, live release rates, and transfers to rescue organizations significantly over the past 2 years, and we are continuing to do more!
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are a local shelter that is available to the community. Our hours to the public are Tuesday-Friday from 11am-5:30pm, and Saturday from 11am-5pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays. We are located at 510 N. Willow Street, just near the Kenai Airport.
Our Adoption Process...
Our fee's vary dependent on the animal from $15.30 up to about $170.00 for adoption. All animals are spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter, unless it is against the veterinarian's recommendation. An owner can pick up the animal at the veterinarians office. We require permission from property managers prior to an adoption if you are renting.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
