Skakira's Story...
NAME: Skakira

Breed: shep/black mouth cur
Age: 09/26/16
vetting: UTD on vetting
Meet Shakira (Kira for short). She was born on 9/26/16. She is a Shepherd mix. She currently weighs in at 10 lbs. We are working on potty training and crate training. She loves to wrestle with her big foster sister Golden Retriever. She avoids the cats, but is curious about them. She gets a little feisty when her foster mom tries to take away a toy, but otherwise gives a lot of kisses. She is not too into snuggling because she is on the go almost all of the time. She is probably not going to be good in a home with small children because we are working on not jumping up on people. She is looking for her furever home. Won't you give this cutie a chance?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skakira, a DeForest Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in DeForest, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in DeForest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in DeForest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a DeForest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in DeForest paves the way for another one to be saved.
