Luke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Luke's Story...
Luke is a 2-3yr old Lab mix who is super sweet. Luke is very eager to please and learning his commands like a pro. Luke had spent a life outdoors being fed very little and getting attacked by wild dogs. He has survived this like a trooper! Luke is finally in a foster home and doing absolutely amazing. He is enjoying his foster brother and sister and learning how to be a dog. Luke is ready for adoption and would love a home to call his own. Luke is crate and house trained, neutered, up to date with shots. He LOVES to catch balls in the air so I bet you could tech him to play Frisbee! Please fill out an adoption application for Luke on our website www.hs-uc.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Monroe Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
