Dante's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dante's Story...
Dante is an 11 month old (DOB - 12/22/2015), red & tan, cropped and docked, 65 lb. male Doberman. This boy needs an owner with previous Doberman or working breed experience. Previous owner turn-in due to boyfriend-girlfriend break-up. Lots of vim, vinegar, and energy; will chase balls and Frisbees forever (doggie ADHD?). Loves to run, so a fenced-in yard is a necessity. No young children due to his size and high energy levels. Walks well on leash. House and crate trained. Very inquisitive, so counter-surfing is an enormous temptation. Needs to work on manners, but is food-motivated. Initially skittish with new people until he gets to know you. Gets along with dogs of his size. Loves to chew, so bone money is important. Rides well in cars. Looking for his forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dante, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
