Zelda - silly & snuggly's Story...
Zelda is a quirky goofball girl who loves to bounce around being silly. She also loves to be petted and cuddled. Zelda is a one year old black and gold tortoiseshell with one eye a lot smaller than the other but she can see fine with both eyes. She is spayed, negative for AIDS and leukemia, up to date on shots, dewormed and on flea prevention. She is comfortable with dogs and would probably be fine with children. Her adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in adopting this silly cutie, please email healingheartsrescue@hotmail.com. You can also call or text (615) 290-2454. Zelda would do best as the only cat unless she is adopted with her brother, Link. Zelda is currently at the Madison PetSmart in the in-store cat adoption center. You are welcome to come by and meet her any time between 9 am and 9 pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zelda - silly & snuggly, a Madison Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Madison, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
