Facts about Hermione

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Hermione is a beautiful, reserved cat with lots of time and desire for lap naps. She is calm, loving, and well behaved. She is approximately 3 years old, and until recently lived outside. Her former family moved away and left her behind (who does that?). Kind neighbors took pity on her and delivered her to a nearby vet clinic where she would be kept safe until a rescue group could take over her care. She is now ready to spend the holidays with you and your family. She promises not to climb the Christmas tree.

The Petsmart adoption location listed for the animals is where they are either at the weekends or sometimes during the week (610 Location). At all other times the animals are at their foster parents house. Please contact us to check on the status and location of any animal before visiting our Petsmart locations, if you are interested in a specific animal.*

Our Adoption Process...

All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.

Our adoption fee of $85 covers only a small fraction of the cost of rescuing, rehabilitating, and housing these homeless animals. Donations help us to provide veterinary care, medicine, vaccinations, food, kitty litter, and other supplies, so that the only limit on our foster caregivers is the size of their homes – not the size of their pocketbooks.
