My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Ty and I'm a male 14 year old Shepherd/Lab mix. I was brought to the shelter when I was taken from my home and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was kept outdoors where I was given no attention and no medical treatment. I developed chronic ear infections, lost most of my hair but it was a day to celebrate when I was taken to Agoura. There I received the medical care I needed, was given weekly medicated baths where my hair has now grown back and most of all, I received love and attention from all of the volunteers who adore me and boy do I eat it all up. I love the affection, plopping myself over for belly rubs. I'm trying to forget all about my past and am looking forward to someone who will stop in front of my kennel, look into my eyes and see something very special in these 14 year old eyes and think to bring me into their home and heart. Because I spent my life alone, I have no socialization skills and will do best as the only pet in the home. Please consider adding me to your family - come and visit me today.
