Oz's Story...
Hello my name is Oz and I am a 5 year old hound x.
My foster family says that I am a great family dog who likes to go outside a lot and am a very happy go lucky dog. I love to greet you at the door when you get home with a sock in my mouth. I love kids and love to snuggle and play with them and would definitely suit a home with children.
It would do me some good to shed some pounds so maybe an active family would suit me more. What can I say? I really love my treats. If you would like more info on me please email freedomdogadoptaions@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oz, a Ottawa Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Ottawa, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Ottawa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ottawa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ottawa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ottawa paves the way for another one to be saved.
