Denali will make you laugh, and give you enjoyment just watching him. He has a great, easy going nature, loves to play fetch with someone or by himself. He had a playmate full time but she has since been adopted. He would do well with another dog or an active family, who wants to jog, play fetch or take him for walks. He hasn't met a dog or person he doesn't like. He is good on a leash, goes right to his crate and never makes a sound. He very rarely barks unless he wants you to play with him or you talk to him. He would be a great jogging partner or a companion for a teenager who wants a best friend; he might be a little active for young kids. He has a sweet loving disposition of wanting to please his owner. He is working on the command sit, lets you take his toy right from his mouth and is so happy to just have your attention. He was pulled from a shelter and had a slight case of demodex mange but has since been treated and is beautiful once again. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. If you’re looking for a wonderful active addition to play fetch, jog or a playmate for your dog Denali is IT!
All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped.
Please fill out an adoption application and start the process for your new family member!
AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess. BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
