JoulesCP's Story...
Approx DOB: August 2016

Joules was named after a unit of energy because this guy is so energetic! Joules is always up for a new adventure and doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything. He is always eager to meet a new cat and is even friendly with dogs. Joules’ foster mom describes him as affectionate, playful, and self-confident. He likes to snuggle in your lap and is not afraid of people who come into the house. Joules has had his first vaccinations and tested negative for feline leukemia.

If you’re interested in adopting this sweet little guy, please contact Leslie at leslie.mcninch@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JoulesCP, a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
