Meet Panada, who came to us as a stray. She does have identification however we were unable to trace her owners. Panda is such a sweet girl! She will curl right up to you if you are laying on the floor with her. She enjoys being loved and pet and doesn't mind being held at all. She loves her vegetables and treats. We are currently working on litter training her and she is almost at the point where she only uses her litter box. She is a very clean and calm rabbit but she also likes to play with her toys, chew on things as well as hopping and jumping around. Panda is very curious and would benefit from a home where she has explore under supervision. She really has a one of a kind in-your-pocket kind of personality! If you think Panda sounds like the perfect addition to your family, do not hesitate to ask the staff about her today!

About Our Shelter...

See our website at www.spca.bc.ca/NorthCariboo for all of our current adoption prices, hours of operation, etc.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
