URGENT!!!! WILL BE PUT DOWN IN THE SHELTER!
Sweet, sweet Ripley has been at Cabarrus County Animal Shelter for exactly 56 days now waiting for her furrever family. We love her dearly, but unfortunately, the longer she stays here, the fewer lives we are able to save. Is there anyone out there that can open there home to this sweet girl? She is desperately searching for a furrever family of her own, a rescue that can help place her or a foster family that can love her until her furrever family is found. Ripley is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative and current on monthly heartworm/flea prevention. Adoption/rescue pull fee covers all vetting that she has had at the shelter. She is a petite, little girl at only 43 pounds, but she has a big personality! She is a bouncy girl with a lot of energy, but we think she will settle down once she finds her people. She goes on daily walks, but she will need someone strong to work with her on leash training. Ripley has done well with other dogs at the shelter with proper introductions and a decompression phase (pictures included). She is a talkative girl that will carry on a full conversation with you! Can everyone, PLEASE share?

About Tails of the Unwanted - Columbia SC

About Our Shelter...

We rescue dogs from high kill shelters on their last adoptable day, often minutes before being killed. Most of the dogs in our program have been rescued from shelters in rural North Carolina. We do not rescue a specific breed of dog, and believe all dogs deserve a wonderful loving home. Once a dog comes into the rescue, they are taken to the vet for vaccinations, they are neutered or spayed and receive a heartworm test. If positive, our rescue raises money for the costly heartworm treatments and takes care of that before they are adopted. Our dogs live in foster home until they are adopted and are mainly located in North Carolina. We have had many successful adoptions in NC, SC and VA and have transported as far as Colorado and Minnesota so distance is not an issue!

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees range from $150-$350 depending on age and breed. Application, Phone or Face-to Face Interview, Vet Check, Reference Check, Home Visit. Contract required at adoption.
