Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tigger is a ten-year-old orange male cat. Tigger belonged to an elderly owner, and when it was discovered he had liver issues, his owner thought best to euthanize him. One of our volunteers thought not, and received authorization to bring him to us. Tigger does have liver disease, and that disease may someday claim him. Today is not that day. Tigger is on a new medication, and rather than declining, Tigger has latched onto his new lease on life. He’s gaining weight (the little chowhound!), and has taken rapid strides in improvement. Tigger bounces like his namesake from Pooh, and he loves human attention and love, waiting patiently for you to scoop him up and cuddle him. He’s a purrfect feline companion; he likes other cats, he’s playful, and loves to talk to you. We’d love to see him find his forever home, one that will treasure and cherish him for the rest of his days. Maybe that’s you!
At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.
