Facts about Delilah
Breed: Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Delilah was found as a stray between Sidney and Anna. We were hopeful that an owner would come forward because she is such a sweet girl, but sadly no one did. She is now waiting for the chance to find a forever home. She can be a little timid in the kennel, but when outside the shelter, she is more than happy to please. She has a wonderful temperament and would make a great companion. Come visit her today! The Shelby County Animal Shelter is open Monday-Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-1.
The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.
The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
