My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bessie was rescued from a high kill shelter with her 5 kittens. Unfortunately, within a day of being rescued, the kittens were sick and diagnosed with panleukopenia. Despite the best round the clock medical care, 3 of the kittens did not survive. The 2 who did, spent almost three weeks in the hospital. An excellent mother, Bessie stayed with her kittens and cared for them throughout their ordeal and then they returned as a family to their foster home. As they grew, she continued to watch over them and teach them. A playful, inquisitive girl in her own right, Bessie has a great purr which she willingly shares with you in return for any attention. A "high jumper," one of her favorite spots is on the very top of the bookcase where she can watch over the entire room. It is hard to tell if she is curious about the workings of the computer or just wants to be next to you, but she may just push the "order" button for you by accident.

Bessie is ready to find her forever home. She has received all age appropriate vetting and care.
