A Little Bit About Me

Kisses, kisses, kisses. Chauncie is all about loving his people and showering them with kisses. He has lived with other dogs in the past and seems to enjoy having canine companions. His approach with them is friendly, though a bit too forward for some dogs. Enrolling him in Family Dog 1 class will set him on the road to proper canine manners.

Chauncie is playful and fun, though at the present time he doesn't seem to know what to do with balls or toys. What he wants most is attention and snuggles. His life hasn't been a bed of roses so far and he is looking to improve his circumstances. Can you offer him a cozy bed, tasty food and some love? That's all he needs to make his life complete. In return you will be loved beyond your wildest dreams!

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
