Cindy is sweet and shy - she loves being carried around and curling up on your lap for some love and affection. She has the most adorable expressions and the most beautiful angelic eyes filled with love. Cindy would love continued socialization to increase her confidence. She is a little nervous around other dogs and might be able to live with a calm dog-savvy dog with proper introduction. Cindy could live in a home with children ages 12 and older.

I am a spayed female, brown Chihuahua - smooth coated mix.

I am estimated to be about 2 years old.

I weigh approximately 8 pounds.

I have been at the shelter since 11/15/2016.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
